Shower Dress

I was getting jealous all these ladies on the wedding forum I frequent were buying all these pretty new dresses for their showers and rehearsal dinners ad we just dont have the spare funds for such luxuries for me... well lucky me I made a sale in my etsy shop so I used it to buy a cute little white dress on ebay :) Now lets just pray it fits well lol

Jewelery

Ive been hunting around for necklaces and earrings... Ive been in love with this style of necklace since before I found a dress... however now that I have my dress I think this necklace is TOO much perhaps for it - Well I couldnt resist and I went ahead and ordered it anyway (it wasnt really all that much money so why not)
I also purchased a pair of chandelier earrings and a pair of simple drop earrings... so we'll see what works for me (they were only about $10 for both pairs)

Sporrans

Im placing the order for the groomsmen and boys attire...

thought I would share with you the awesome sporrans we found for them! Are these cute or what... father and son sporrans LOVE IT! - Im so excited that they boys are going to have their own!

They are also almost identical to Will except his has white tassels where these have black ones :)

SHOES!!!!

Found them and bought them! I have scoured stores online and IRL galore and finally found a pair that I like! Only catch is they are 3.5" heels lol so atleast I ordered them NOW and I will have time to practice walking in them! LOL But the good news is I wont have to hem my dress now! :D

Hair Trial

So I had a really rough mock up of a hair trial when I went the other week to have my hair colour "fixed" lol.... I LOVE it .... I love what shes thinking and had never even considered it... doing really lose braids will for sure give it a celtic feel which totally fits the theme of our wedding! sooo excited shes also adding two temporary hair extension pieces that she will curl and place to the side around my neck

I took the photos on my cell so they arent great but it was just a rough mock up to get an idea ;)

To Do List:

Well Theres still lots to do -

-Need to meet with the new officiant (since our last was a bust)
-Meet with Caterers to talk about and confirm a menu selection
-Start a gift Registry
-Finalize and print invites to send out Aug - eeek!
-Timeline for the day
-Order Groomsmen/Boys Outfits
-Find shoes and find a seamstress for my Dress
-Figure out and finalize a centerpiece arrangement

Im sure theres more but thats all I can think of for now! ACK!

Table Numbers

So Ive been thinking a lot about centerpieces and have yet to come to a definite decision. I know I want some nice ambient lighting at each table and we cannot use candles at our venue so I purchased LED lights and Batteries that I will tape them too to create a nice cheap, non-fire hazard light source! (DIY photos and details to come)

But I found these velum table numbers on etsy.com and like this idea -its cheap and easy and I can really customize it!

the dress is MINE

Picked up dress on Thursday and Im IN LOVE with it - I was starting to stress a bit about my choice as its nothing like what I envisioned but as soon as I put it on I remembered why I chose it!
Will be going to my aunts soon and playing dressup and will have some photos!

Its almost MINE!

Im going to pick up the dress next Thursday - June 25th - 10am!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! I cant wait to get back into her.... woot woot! LOL

Wills Ring

Well I found an awesome band for Will! I just ordered so hope when it gets here hes happy with it. He liked the photos I showed him so yay! Its stainless steel just like the engagement ring I got him and hes very happy with it!

Loving Ebay!

Got the Girls pashmina shawls that I found on e bay They are pretty decent considering I bought 4 got one free at $6.98 each with free shipping and i actually received 6 by accident lol so yay! I got 4 apple green and 2 brown (apple green is the one on the end of the photo!

BridesMaid Jewelery

Well I was able to find the girls some cute little pendants with earrings in apple green - I like that they are all consistent in style but each a unique pendant for each of them so they aren't all matchy matchy! Found them on Ebay! (oh and of course they just happened to have spider in the same green apple colour so I couldn't resist!!!! LOL

and i have to wait till next week to see and try it on (sniff sniff - LOL)

But yay im so excited I cant wait to get into my dress again and in to one that FITS no less! WOOOO HOOOO!

Make Trial

So I had my makeup Trial on Saturday... I wouldnt say I LOVE it but its nice. I liked the girl that did it though and Im sure we can make it work with a bit of tweaking for the day of :)
