I didnt realize wrapping bouquets would be such a challenge but well worth the work I love them.

Made my girls some earrings - they were so much fun and surprisingly easy!

Favors

I finally decided on and made my favors - just having to finish wrapping them but here they are....
Chocolate covered spoons drizzled in white chocolate and lucked out on the awesome ribbon that matches my colour scheme and says FROM THE MR & MRS
Inexpensive and Easy - 2 of my favorite things!

Sneak Peek...

Here is a photo sneak peek of the boys shirts I had the Ninkey make from etsy
She was even able to find me little green apple shaped buttons!
She also made apple green flashes for the boys and the groomsmen!

Ladies Night.....

The girls took me out to an irish pub and we drank the night away and of course they had to make a spectacle out of me! It was loads of fun and Im happy to report that despite the plethora of booze that passed my lips... I did not puke! woo hooo! lol

Ring Dish

Wasn't sure how we were going to carry the rings down but I found these awesome little ring dishes... I had seen some other but were too expensive and not my style... then I came across this little gem!
I found a spider design she had made and Im going to have her personalize it with our wedding date and make it a ring dish like the bird on below :)

This Bride Ain't Trippin'!

I love attending wedding forums so full of wonderful ladies to help inspire you or save you from breaking your neck on your wedding day lol
I got my shoes tonight and nearly killed myself on our hardwood floor as they were very slippery. Well wouldn't you know it... our venue is all hardwood floors. I just KNOW Ill bail! So another lovely bride found these heartstoppers for me and I just ordered a set! - cute aren't they and and on the off chance anyone sees the bottom of my shoes they will see little hearts - LOVE IT!
(now lets just hope they do their job lol)

Ribbon Send Off

So rice and bubbles are out... just not my thing. I wasn't planning on doing anything but the more photos I see the more I feel we would be missing something if we didnt have that.
We aren't really doing a send off since ceremony and reception are at same location... so maybe people could do it as we are introduced as Mr and Mrs for the first time?!
They will make for a cheap DIY (yay more on my to do list), they are clean and I can always sell them to recoup some cost when finished :D

Something BLUE

Center Piece Mock Up - DIY

Here they are almost finished - just gotta get some dried moss or something to cover the top so you can't see inside and there will be fresh green apples scattered around the base :D

Also as you can see in a previous post the lantern part will be lit up by an LED light - love these and they were sooooooooooooo cheap to make!

Name Cards

I saw these cute little bird place cards here so I thought I would attempt to DIY my own with the same bird I used on my invite. Im still unsure about them as I also like the idea of using an apple and pinning a leaf shaped paper onto it with the guests name.

Groomsmen Attire Revisited

Well I have had NO luck finding apple green dress shirts but I think Will is FINALLY coming around to the idea of Brown Dress shirts with Apple Green Silk Ties. I think it will coordinated nicely with the girls cause their dresses are brown and will have a green sash!

This is the ONLY photo I can find online so far of Kilt with Dress Shirt and Tie without a Jacket.

Will at least agree to go with me to the store to see what they look like! :D PROGRESS!

DIY Lantern Table Number / Menu Mock Up

Here it is my first attempt at the paper lanterns I wanted to make that serve as table numbers and menu cards as well as add a bit of ambiance to the tables.

Im thinking I will put the curly willow with blossoms and birds in mason jars then place these around them

Kilts are IN!

Woo hoo part of the kilt order has already arrived Im so excited! And the little kid/baby sporrans are soooooooo freaking adorable in person - I kid you know they made me cry LOL

Shower Dress

I was getting jealous all these ladies on the wedding forum I frequent were buying all these pretty new dresses for their showers and rehearsal dinners ad we just dont have the spare funds for such luxuries for me... well lucky me I made a sale in my etsy shop so I used it to buy a cute little white dress on ebay :) Now lets just pray it fits well lol
